Blackberry Glazed Wings with Dipping Sauce

To simplify this recipe, you can cut chicken wings at the joint with poultry sheers or a sharp knife, or purchase drumettes instead of wings.

Ingredients
  • 1pkg. Volume(6 oz) Driscoll’s Blackberries 
  • 12 12 12chicken wings 
  • 1/4  1/4  1/4cup CUP_USVolumevegetable oil  
  • 1/4  1/4  1/4cup CUP_USVolumelemon juice  
  • 1/4  1/4  1/4cup CUP_USVolumeWorcestershire sauce  
  • 1/4  1/4  1/4cup CUP_USVolumedark beer  
  • 1  1  1 clove Volumegarlic  
  • 1  1  1 tsp. TEASPOON_USVolumesalt  
  • 1  1  1 tsp. TEASPOON_USVolumeground black pepper  
Instructions
  1. Place chicken wings in large mixing bowl.  
  2. Combine berries and next 7 ingredients (oil through pepper) in a blender; blend until smooth. Set aside 3/4 cup sauce for dipping. 
  3. Pour remaining sauce over wings in a large bowl; toss to coat thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate 2-4 hours or overnight. 
  4. Preheat oven to 450ºF. Line a baking sheet or roasting pan with foil and coat with nonstick spray. Shake excess marinade off wings and place on pan. (Discard marinade.) 
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until cooked through and well browned. 
  6. Serve warm or cool with reserved dipping sauce.
