Blackberry Mint Iced Tea

Brewed mint tea can substitute for black tea and fresh mint leaves in this refreshing drink.

Ingredients
  • 5black tea bags 
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4cup CUP_USVolumemint leaves, crushed, reserve one leaf per serving for garnish 
  • 4cups CUP_USVolumeboiling water 
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2cup CUP_USVolumegranulated sugar 
  • 6pkg. Volume(6 oz) Driscoll's Blackberries, reserve two to three per serving for garnish 
Instructions
  1. Place tea bags and mint in a heat-proof pitcher. Add boiling water. Steep at least 10 minutes. 
  2. Strain into another pitcher and discard mint and tea bags. Stir in sugar. 
  3. Purée blackberries in a blender or food processor; strain though a fine sieve. 
  4. Discard pulp and seeds. Stir blackberry purée into tea. Taste and adjust sugar as desired. Chill. 
  5. Serve over ice garnished with mint leaf and two or three blackberries.
