Triple Berry Margarita on the Rocks

The essence of intense berry flavor comes through with each sip of this “on the rocks” berry margarita. If you prefer a “slushier” consistency, return the strained berries back in to the blender, fill with ice and remaining ingredients, and blend just before serving.

Ingredients
  • 1pkg. Volume(6 oz) Driscoll's Blackberries
  • 1pkg. Volume(6 oz) Driscoll's Raspberries
  • 1pkg. Volume(16 oz) Driscoll's Strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4cup CUP_USVolumesugar, or to taste
  • 6oz. OUNCE_USVolumetequila
  • 2oz. OUNCE_USVolumetriple sec
  • 4oz. OUNCE_USVolumefreshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1wedge fresh lime
Instructions
  1. Purée berries in blender until smooth. 
  2. Strain puréed berries through sieve into pitcher to remove seeds. A Chinois or a Colander may also be used. 
  3. Add sugar, to taste, into pitcher. Add tequila, triple sec and lime juice into pitcher; stir. 
  4. Prepare four glasses by rubbing rims with a wedge of lime and dip in salt. Add ice to glasses. 
  5. Pour margarita mixture into four glasses and garnish with berries, as desired.
